A Gas Safety Certificate, known as a CP12, that is legally required by the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998. It means compliancy certification and must be completed every 12 months, hence its name. Landlords are obliged to ensure all the gas appliances work efficiently and safely
