In 'Home: The Story of Everyone Who Ever Lived in Our House’ Julie Myerson delivers biography of a house. This is the history of Julie Myerson's family home in Clapham. She lives in a typical Victorian terraced family house, of average size, in a typical Victorian suburb. For this book, the author set out to learn as much as she could about the people who had lived in her house before her. Her home is just an ordinary house and, according to Myerson, ordinary people have lived there for over a century. But Myerson loves it and this book is a love letter to the property. In the book, Myerson starts to explore who they were, what they believed in, what they desired and they soon become as remarkable, as complicated and as fascinating as anyone.
